Title: Need advice - Neutral while driving
Post by: desleyhan on August 11, 2013, 10:59:37 PM
Need some advice here.

A way to save some fuel a friend of mine say is that when I see a traffic turning red from afar, I can switch to 'N' and let my car glide towards the traffic light.

How technically correct is this? Anyone can share?

Do that often i think your gear box will go up lorry sooner.....

Instead of fuel savings, you pay more for a new gearbox.

dont do this kinda of stunt to save money bro. By inching your way to the traffic light. you are indirectly slowing the traffic behind you

want to save petrol, control your left foot, lighter rims, adequate type pressure..... these are very good ways and more efficient as well

quiet dangerous to do that cos by switching to neutral gear there's no engine braking ,it'll affect ur braking distance. :nonod:
