Title: Sound when accelerating

my latio is having this sound when i step on the accelerator. doesn't always happens.
it sounded like a spoilt CD player. the sound usually go away when i hit high speed.

any latio owner having the same experience?

Sound comes from belt and it only happens when u step on accerelator from stand still or picking up speed...

Most probably its the engine pinging...

i dont think its pinging.. the sound isnt that loud.

it is more of a faint squeaking sound.
