Title: Should this hose connect somewhere?

Got a G11 Sylphy and just noticed that a small hose near the +ve battery terminal is not connected to anything. Couldn't find anything that it could connect to. Is it some kind of air vent? Thanks for any info.

This is the air bleeder hose for gearbox.
