Guys, need your advice on my situation here.
I have a great Nissan Sylphy with COE expiring in May 2016.
It didn't give me any problem at all, but because of the COE system, I'm kind of "forced" to scrap it so that I don't lose the "50% of ARF Paid", which is about SGD10K. I'm thinking to renew COE for 5 years and sell it at scrap value + COE in order to extend the lifespan of the car, these sum up to SGD33K (SGD10K + SGD 23K), based on last PQP of SGD46K.
Do you think there's such market in Singapore where I can sell the car?
In case you're wondering why I just don't use it instead of selling, we all know that COE has dropped significantly in the past few months, so this maybe the best time for me to get a new car since I intend to use the car for the full 10 years.

If you don't want to use the car, just scrap it or trade in when buying new car.
When you think of selling it after renewing it for 5 years, how much you want to sell it? If you want to renew it and drive it for another 1 or 2 years, then buy new car, the chance for COE to drop 10K is slim.

I'm thinking to sell it at SGD33K (SGD23K COE + SGD10K Scrap Value).
Just feel it's a waste to scrap such a good car, so thinking to sell without taking any profit.

What is your mileage by the way.
