Title: Latio Boot
Post by: jaydos on May 08, 2008, 01:52:19 PM
When our Latio is stationery with driver at the wheel, a family member or friend can open up the boot as it is unlocked.

I was wondering whether the boot remains unlocked when the car is moving or stationary at traffic light. If is remains unlocked especially when the car is stationary at traffic light, a motor cyclist can simply open up the boot and remove any valuables (e.g. laptop) or even be able to put a bomb inside !

How come Latio does not have button at driver's side to open up the boot instead for safety reasons?  :confused1: :confused1:

Hmm I never thought of this until you mentioned. So I guess the auto-lock thing is quite important in this case then?

It's a good habit.  Some time ago, people were talking about handbag and valuable got snatched at traffic junction because the doors are not locked.

Thanks. Did not cross my mind about the manual autolock of doors.
