Title: CVT NS-2 oil

hi all,

anyone can advise whether how much of CVT oil we need to use when changing the old CVT oil?

If I need to top up, where can i go to? or i need to buy a 4liter to top up a little?

I just taken over a 2nd hand latio premium and would like to do all the servicing myself once, my habit.

Seem like my question too chiam :bleh: :bleh: :bleh: no one ever done DIY for CVT oil replacement. Anyone has changed CVT oil at autosaver before? How much they charge? Thanks

changing cvt oil is not difficult, more or less similar to changing engine oil, there are only 2 points i think you should take note of:

1) make sure that they replace with original NS-2 Nissan CVT oil into your CVT gear box.
2) make sure that they really put enough oil into your gearbox, ask them to double check and confirm with the dip stick after change.

1 4L NS-2 cvt oil is about close to a hundered if i'm not mistaken and add in abit more for their servicing charges i suppose. please obtain more quotes before you commit, I will strongly recommend going back to TCM cos they are liable ...
