hi all..
today i find that my wipers are very jerky and noisy when wiping.. esp the bigger 22" one.. problem is this wiper i just changed not too long ago.. and just today afternoon is doing fine.. the prev one also same problem, so i tot is wiper fault.
is it something got to do windscreen ? i suppose not, as this comes only recently ? or is there any particular brand i have to stick to ? pls advise..
another thing is i tend to lift up both wipers during under hot sun, could this cause any harm to the wiper blade or rod ?

Did you apply anything to your windscreen?
Rain X is notorious for causing the windscreen wiper to shrudder.
Try cleaning your windscreen with kerosene to remove any chemicals that you may have applied.

any sun shade on ur windscreen?

Mine also encountered same problem since day 1. Feedback to TC only change wiper blade nia. :(
-
absolutely nothing.. past few days is ok.. i heard about the problem of having car shampoo on windscreen, that why i avoided it now... dno why still like that today..
may i know of wat brands of wipers u all using ? i think mine is NVB or something like that.. is bosch suppose to be better?

Dun think is normal. :(

stock wipers normally will be jerky after sometime as the dirt accumulates on the wiper blades...
try to use a wet cloth to clean the blades and make sure no dirt left...
for wind screen try to use clay bar with soapy water on it to get rid of residue....

I had this problem after went for outside car wash. It has something to do with the windscreen. Now every time I wash it with CIF. After cleaning the windscreen a few times, no more jerk.
So no point changing the wiper. The problem is the windscreen not clean.
-
some say its due to the wax in the car wash liquid that cos the problem.

If jerky wiper continues despite all measures taken, replace a new wiper and use a damp cloth to wipe the wiper blade to maintain it.
You will be surprised how dirty the blade can be - it leaves a layer of black on your cloth.
