Title: Speedometer reading after rims/tires upsize
Post by: arias48 on August 29, 2008, 12:13:42 PM
Assuming rims/tires upsize from 15" stock to 16"/17". understand that the speedometer reading will not be accurate. Can't we do something on the speedometer to read the new 16"/17" rims/tires accurately?  :yehyeh:

sad to inform u bro, even if u used stock tires and rim, the analog reading also not that accurate...

the ecu reading and what is shown on the speedometer tak tally, at least for my ride. Not sure about the others.

another way is to try going by sle towards bke and exit at yishun, at the filter, there is a speedometer that tells you the speed you are travelling at, i ever tried and it tally with my speedometer reading, not sure how accurate though.

i also tried that at bedok north exit from pie  :D

the reading tallies with my Greddy Informeter reading.

alan, my analog speedo is +2km from the ecu reading.
