I sent my car to do wheel alignment after i bang into the kerb yesterday. After banging the kerb, my car swirl to the left when i let go the steering wheel. After i send my car for wheel alignment, my car still swirl to the left slightly when i let go the wheels.
Any bro know why is that so? Is there more then wheel alignment to get the car travel straight?

Where do you do your wheel alignment and how much u pay?
From what i know, latio always go a bit to the left even your stereing is straight.

I think TCM Ubi and Lok Yang have the alignment machine. $75 for the alignment process..
Check that you tyre air pressure is still ok for both front wheels. you can also ask TCM to realign your steering. hope this helps.

tks bro for the reply. i did it at Autobacs, promotion now at $40.

okay, then u better ask TCM to check the steering on your next service. I did mine at autosaver
and though he adjusted my steering, he advice probably i can go for the wheel alighment. So my car still a bit to the left. Remeber i check with Hankook when i change my tyres to V2, he also say the car will a bit divert to the left. I will go for wheel alignment unless it is very serious.

There is elevation on the road for water to move to the side and most of the roads in Singapore are sloped to the left, thus there will be a bit of veering to the left on most road surface.

how hard was your bang? your rims may be warped.
usually after wheel alignment they have to also align your steering otherwise your steering straight but wheel not straight. are you holding down the wheel or just letting it go? sometimes u let go, the car goes straight, but the wheel lools like slanted

This is normal? I get this swaying to the left when I drove NSHW. I intend to get it corrected on the next servicing. At the moment can live with it.

Is the swaying due to cross wind???

do check your rims for warping.
otherwise, it is because the alignment done is too straight.
for my car, my left is -1deg camber while my right is -0.5deg camber.
with this, i can go straight without holding the wheel.
probably, they just set it both the same for the front. =]

tks for all the replies. Anyway, what is warping?

erm. bent rims. so slight that naked eye cant see but during balancing, will be able to tell.
