Hi Bros and Sis
My ride is around 4 months old and there are many fine scratch lines around my door handles.
As I am very careful with my car, am very curious why were the lines there.
Any suggestions how to have these lines removed? The simplier the better, haha.

Do you or other driver wear ring?

Sharp finger nail?

sometimes nails also can create these scratches. Mine are also in bad shape. Driver side handle the paint is even peeling off... use touch up paint also not much use.

Hi! i think this happens quite often coz i heard abt this from many people. Just try using wax to polish off. i think most lines around the handle can be removed using wax.
For deep lines u might wanna try a stronger wax like Sonax. Good luck!

Thanks all/
valeon, no sharp finger nail.
best_ctzn, yes my wife and i wear wedding band. No protuding diamond.
Any recommended wax to use?
Will the Turtle Wax Swirl and scratch remover help?
-
any polish should remove the marks
it is normal
even nails will cause that
sometimes u carry key, ring, etc also kena

The gap to insert your fingers to open the door handle is small compred to other Japanese rides
-
I had the same prob...used Meguiers scratchX to remove them...so far, q effective, guess is unavoidable.
-
Very normal for dark color ride.

To effectively remove or cover it, can Get Mothers scratch removal to do e job
Afterwhich, polish it and use a wax to apply over it.
other alternative, get a groomer to get it done.
After few months, scratches will surface again. Is like tat. Then wax over again.

Thanks guys for all your input. So from what I have read, will need a scratch removal like Scratch X then wax.
But I saw some waxing product that claims to be able to remove fine scratches and swirl marks, are they effective in removing scratches of this nature?
