Hi, anyone has signed up AAS membership? What is the benefit that you r currently enjoying? Not sure is it worthwhile signing. Thinking of signing up during motorshow08.

don't think it is worthwhile when your car is still under warranty

One thing that attract me is the roadside assistance.

Any bros or sis can give me feedback about AAS's roadside assistance?

The free roadside assistant is for system failure only, not for accident.

The chance of break down for new car ( less than 3 years ) is quite low, so the only benefit is free jump start for the flat battery, and this most likely happened at car park.

They offered 4 years AA ordinary membership at $160.50, entrance fee waived. Not worth joining for new car owner right?

Waste of money.

Many credit cards and petrol cards like Caltex offer free towing service.

For new car owner, just prepare jump start cable in your car boot, normally no need for other roadside assistance.

Jump start needs another car or battery?
