no lah.. there's terms & conditions to it.

read from a SE from MCF that "the price is obtained after taking away e promo package of reverse cam/petrol voucher, NPMP, NAC (repeat customer) discount, etc"

This is a 'Pay As You Bid' scheme.

You can get the Latio at $49K only if COE price crashes to below $10K.

You paid about 9K more.  Even NPMP plus DS3 will not cost 9K.  The other freebies usually come from the SE, right?  Did you also take the in-house financing and insurance? If not, that will account for another 2K difference.

Freebies given usually depends on how much loan your took and if you have any car to trade in.

I have leather seats, cash card cover, car mart. I bought mine at the last COE before the reduction in quantum began.

Not so much on max loan but whether you get the car at $49,700 is dependent on COE price.

Possible to get at this price if COE crashes to below $10K next round.

Otherwise, you have to top up money.

Same tactic as Komoco's previous 'pay-as-you-bid' scheme.

Thought TCM usually don't ask buyer to top up $$$  ?

Yes agreed that it is a sales gimmic but there is a slight discount given.
Have checked that if we were to book the 2009 facelift model, we have to add S$3500 into S$49700 = S$53200!
2009 model comes with FC meter & inhouse audio system like M3 factory fitted audio system.

S$3500 is the different in prices between the standard & premium Latio.
