Title: What do TCM change on 40K servicing?
Post by: totallypatrick on December 14, 2008, 07:50:58 PM
To those bros who had gone for their 40km servicing, what do they change beside the usual engine and transmission oil? Do they change the timing belt, water pump, etc? I'm contemplating besides TCM and outside workshop cos the price diff is abt $200. Thanks in advance

I thought Latio uses chain timing belt which does not need replacement?

I might be wrong.

Tan Chong Service Package
http://www.nissan.com.sg/service/pkg_psg.cfm

40,000km is considered major servicing

50,000km is considered minor servicing.

If you can service at 40,000km outisde, there is no need to go back to Tan Chong for your 50,000km servicing as any orkshops outside can do it. Very simple oil change whereby they don't even check or service your brakes.

Bros, If you get your car service by own mech, will it void any warranty by TCM?
Anyone can advice coz a bit blur on this.
