Title: Inspection! Help!

Guys, my LTA letter for my Cefiro to go inspection come liaoz. Latest July must inspect liao.

I think my car is nowhere NEAR stock.

Any advice from bros here? (:

Kena quoted 200 bucks including CONFIRM Pass which i think is ABSURD!

My latio only paid 75 bucks to get a pass. tsktsk!!

You paid for your Latio at $75 for a sure pass inspection including the inspection fee? Got so cheap one meh?

But that time i only have LED license plate light, and other nitty gritty things.
Now my cefiro got HID, got LED Signal light, LED r8 lookalike. Sianz!

freaking wanna slurp my money only one lor. knn

Prices often depend very much on the number of illegal stuffs you had installed to your ride. The more illegal mods you had installed the more they will charge you for the inspection!

just a puzzling question... why can't we install HID headlights like those BMW, Lexus, Audi,, etc... becos they pay higher Road Tax ? Can any bros enlighten ?

aiyo, i believe ur latio is cefiro is the same fellow u find to get the pass rite? then littat sound contradicting liao. and urself alr mention the diff in mod btwn ur latio n cefiro, so its normal la! haha! but then, discuss this topic so openly is it abit too sensitive? duno who's larking behind those nick sometime! i duno but just curious.

revert ur headlight back to halogen then go inspection lah... ur installer dun know how to do it or can't find a place to hide ur ballast? temporary disconnect the r8 led then can go inspection liao lor.....

Yeah i was thinking of disconnecting HID den the r8 light also disconnect. License plate i got plenty of stock plates @ home. anyhow tia front back done liao. den license plate light hack care lar.

but once again, those lighting alr need 200? omg! then if like those pple w even more mod to exhaust area wouldnt it b more! really ex!  :furious:

so, the net result is - the workshops gain twice - once when they did the modification and again when they provide "assistance" with the inspection

yo latio boy! my inspection also by july have to go inspect man!!i know a place @ XXX they do inspection also.$150-$200.Mine even worse then urs lo..Wa lau..Interested to go together.I roughly know where lo cause few yrs back i help my friend do his inspection.

But $200 to get a confirmed pass is pretty resonable to me. To dekit everything and put back would cost much more than that.

for u, is resonable, but not for him... only lighting mods.

told him not to waste $$ mod his parent cars liao he dun listen :(

haha.if hid just change back to stock for abt $20 bucks rather then spend $200 for the inspection loh. LEDs are not illegal mah
