Any cheap and reliable normal conventional battery to recommand ? The amaron battery only has the maintenance free one right ? I dun really like the MF ones cause they tend to have shorter life span.

My previous Amaron maintenance free battery lasted me almost 3 yrs, comparable to conventional ones, that's why I recommend it.

But conventional ones are the way to go if you don't mind to refill battery water.

FH & Pqanasonic are good & reliable brands. Price I am not sure

Or you can call some shops to check out the cheapest one available.

Stock battery is normal one. Workshop will help you to refill batt water (shd included in the service package) when you servicing your car by right.....if by left, then dunno liao.......

TCM always stated on their service report or invoice, car owner has to check and top up the batt water once a mth IIRC.....

It is recommended that you replace your current stock battery with Tan Chong before its 24th month as it comes with a 50% discount.

Stock FB brand NS60 battery price is $105, subject to GST, before 50% discount.

From the 25th to 36th mth, the discount will be reduced to 25% which is still cheaper than outside.

got mine change at TCM - 25% MF battery INDIGO. Been using stock battery slightly over 2.5 years. No problem but want to have peace of mind when travelling to KL recently. Will see how MF perform whether can last  like stock one. If not, will revert to conventional type. Cheers!

SGD 84 incld GST

That translates to $105 before GST.

Reasonable price to pay for maintenance free battery as I know Lok Yang branch charges the same price for FB brand conventional non maintenance free battery.

I am glad I am not the only one with problem on Hankook battery. Mine gone just a week after 12 months. When I asked them for discount on new battery, they are so proud to say this is normal and no discount.

Just got my battery changed at TCM BT with 25% discount, they gave me a FB Gold 2100, checked online, seems to be a pretty decent battery made by a Japanese company with factory in Thailand.
