Title: Any acc. shop to recommend?
Post by: jonpaul0104 on August 15, 2009, 10:04:46 PM
Hi,

I had just purchased a in-car video recorder from 1 of the sponsor in MCF. The DVR runs on battery which can last only abt 3hrs. There is a 12V charger supplied but as u know, Latio cigarette charger is below the armrest and will look ugly as the wire will be dangling in the air if pluck in there.

So tot of looking for a shop to tap the power from the map reading lights.

Any acc. shop to recommend?

Will this void your car warranty if there is any short circuit resulting from this alternative source of power?

i dun think will have any short circuit issue....look at the no. of cars doing LED lights....

i believe i should be a simple job for these installers...the most is short the video recorder first...

to connect the power from our car battery should be same as how we connect the Led lights or room lights, you may consult Kyorei82 aka Ryan, maybe he can do for you. Get a quote from him 1st
