A bro is selling in the commercial thread, it's the osram brand. I think he sells 4300k light bulb, not sure if it is hid. You may want to check. But it is not LTA friendly...

Halogen bulb and HID are 2 different things. The 4300K is the normal halogen bulb that emits whiter light than stock but still little yellowish. The bulb is blue in colour but emits white light. As I know, LTA only approved until 4300K for most brands and think only a certain brands such as PHILIP 5000K Diamond Vision halogen bulb is legal.

There are some reviews that the nightbreaker does not last as long as the stock. The comments are usually less than 1 year life span. Though it really depends on usual, but isn't it too short for less than a year ???

Do you know the brand and specs of our stock bulb ? In this case, I would also not change to others. Quite disappointing to see the after market lamp does not last, not to mention less than one year, and yet gives lots of excuses....

Our stock is only 4000K, anything above consider illegal.

To me, our stock is good enough, giving that Singapore's night road condition is excellent. Very often, you may see drivers forget to switch on their head lamps. Unless, you want to show that you can glare coming drivers, so as to show what some people call 'cool'  loh.:nonod:

Well, unless you go to Malaysia often, then you need  powerful and bright lamps.

not really, on small and lonely road, on high light to see far if you really have to, when opposing car coming turn to low light again... this is plain road courtesy. Too powerful low light is as bad as high beam to oncoming car. That make one looks rude, but I am sure some will reply  "I don't care, I don't give a ####" etc etc.
