Title: Exhaust & petrol can be smell inside the car.

“Whenever driving behind those big trucks” or “pump petrol while leaving the engine & air con on”, I can always smell the exhaust & petrol inside my car.
Even though I had adjust the air con just to circulate inside my car, but it seem like it’s useless.  Anybody experience that? Pls help. Thanks in advance.

Check your aircon setting, it might be at Fresh Air which means it's letting in air from the outside.

happens to me smetimes when i step harder like 3rpm den will smell it leh....anyone exprience it before???..

Its normal. Sometimes inside still got ******** smell cos I used to passby those field with cow dung daily in Jurong Island. I will disturb my ex-colleague saying she farted. hahahaa

Thanks for the reply. This is the 1st thing that I check. I did inform the TC during my 2nd service but this is what they wrote in my vehicle service histroy "CHK A/C RECIRCULATION ON & ABLE TO SMELL EXHAUST FUMES - ADJUST A/C FLAP & CLEAN A/C FILTER". So it's still the same even after I collected my car.  :(

I think I also got the same problem. Compliant during servicing at TCM but no use.
Still the same after compliant

Yes esp when u drag ur rpm above 3-5k can smell "vanilla" smell comin out from the aircon vents...
