Title: mirror stolen!
Post by: dsrio on September 21, 2009, 08:41:47 AM
any bros wonder whether Tan Chong or any shops out there sell the driver side wing mirror? I mean the piece of mirror only as the whole assembly is still there.
I assume someone must have stolen mine as there is no traces of broken pieces of the mirror on the floor if it had dropped off
now stuck at home coz unable to drive much w/o the mirror for safety reasons .

1 small piece of mirror cost 50 bucks ?

yup, $50 coz only original, no OEM avaliable for latio.
actually TC says $36++ for the mirror, labour is another $30 if I don't forget, so I went to a workshop in AMK and they order and fixed for me saying $50 but no labour charges, actually $50 already include labour lah. Then when I see him fix, alamak, so easy, just clip on, if I know earlier I go buy and fix myself.

All bros here dun worry, when I call and check with TC, the lady over the counter says very rare cases of latio mirror kenna stolen/disappear, mostly is break or crack, so enjoy your car and dun bother about these things. I felt better after spending another $35 on the below sunshade and washing my car.
