Bro,

I installed about 2 months ago for $75 since my latio came with manual folding.

The side mirror will fold in when you lock the car from outside and will fold out when you start the car engine.

Manual switch is still available when required.

Thanks bro.
Do you find it useful?
I don't know will it "eat" up the battery if it go haywire.
Just to confirm, when you say start engine, does that means the engine is fully turn on or at On or ACC location?
Any dismantle of the side mirror required?

Is this price for new car purchase only?

I just book my Latio Premium.
I'm asking it for FOC.
so before get it install, I need to confirm will the mirrors open only when the engine got started. or it will open as long as you turn the key to On / Acc?
for closing, I'm ok bcos when the door is pressed to lock, then mirrors will close, this will help to ensure the car is lock even from a distance.

Joining this thread.. thought of doing the auto-fold also, when i turn ON or OFF the engine. My current side mirrors are already electronic controlled. In order to have auto-fold, do we need to change out the motor or something? Or just electrical wiring needed?

Thanks!

its for premium latio, as your mirrors must still be motorise then can add module to auto fold. I didn't know TC got install this too, maybe will check it out during my next servicing.

Looks like not too expensive. But my concern is if you make it auto, lifespan of the motors will be shortened because everyday ON OFF engine it will fold/unfold.

for those who are interest:-
basically, there are 2 ways TC can do.
1) Windows will open when you unlock the door, close when you lock the door.
2) Windows will open When u turn on to On/Acc. close when you lock the door.

Anyone know where to get auto tilt down side mirror device (when reverse)?

Was told by many ppl that the quality is still not stable for those sold in market now.

Been looking for a stable brand.

for those who install then TC autofold module with open when unlock door and close when door lock.. need ur help to test out something.. when u lock the door immediately unlock it... does ur mirror stay close or open????

I have install from a TCM supplier so just wanna know if its the same type....

For those driving Latio Basic, u need to buy and install the foldable mirrors. I bought mine from TCM for $550.. for parts, spray and installation.
Basically it's changing the whole assembly.. less the mirror. Also, if u want to have the auto fold feature when u lock your car, an additional relay needs to be installed.
