Title: Changing my tyres - Michelin 185/65HR15 XM1 MCL and adjustable camber nut
Post by: tahoo on November 22, 2009, 06:02:12 PM
I am considering to change my 2.5 years tyres to Michelin 185/65HR15 XM1 MCL.
The workshop is also asking me to change my camber nut to something adjustable.

Any comment about Michelin 185/65HR15 XM1 MCL and adjustable camber nut?

This Thai made tyre has excellent grip initially, but hardens (despite being parked in multistorey car pk all the time & unexposed to the elements) after just 25,000km and grip is non existent thereafter.

Very disappointing for such a branded and an expensive tyre compared to its competitors.

Thanks for the comments.
I was told that the adjustable camber nut allow them to do wheel alignment. They say mine is to straight 0", 0" or something.
