Aircon filter DIY
« on: November 29, 2008, 02:02:05 PM »
Hi guys,

I went for servicing yesterday and was quoted $60 by autosaver for aircon filter replacement. With GST that will be $64.2. Fed up with such high price over a piece of filter, I end up searching for DIY lobang on my own in this forum.

I eventually found bro Yee whose website can be found here (his contact is in the pricelist image):

The price is only $17 and he also offered to do the replacement for free while at the same time teaching me how to DIY. I had read the DIY guide in this forum and cant visualize the procedure, but after going through with bro Yee, it is much clearer and easy. Besides, he also offered to doing future replacement for me if I am not  confident.

I recommend looking for bro Yee if you planning to DIY and not sure where to get the filter and how to do it

Hi,
Not promoting any workshop, but I changed the aircon filter @ Sabaan in Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2A for $5...
Of course, I did my servicing there...
