I am on CVT hatchback. FC ranges from 12.5-14. 60% highway, 40% city. But my highway travel involves the frequent morning and evening jams! :(

It's enlightening to hear such feedback about latio CVT. I drive 75% highway and 25% city and that's before the morning rush! And when I end my shift at 2.30pm, road is still ok. So I rarely get caught in jams.

And on top of that, I'm a light-footed driver but still my Subaru gives me 10-11.2km/L. Plus it is underpowered as it is a 2.0L body with a 1.5L engine. So imagine the sluggish affect it has on acceleration. The only consolation is that it handles like a conti car. Cornering is a breeze.

Anyway, I've signed for a latio. 20-month old with 32,000km on the clock. Fully serviced at Tan Choong and still under warranty. And it's a $130 increase in instalments. But I guess the drivability, fuel consumption, bigger boot space, bigger legroom, comfortable seats and many functions, the $130/mth is worthwhile.

Bro, I also just got my latio premium cvt not long ago, but its an old car, 5 years old. budget. Most of the things quite stock, except tyres I believe, depending on the fuel pumped, can range between 12.5 - 13.5, seldom reach above 14 I believe due to aging and all the other factors.

Sometimes find it very underpower, slow pick up, slow cutting lanes...sighs.

Originally started with Shell 95, then changed to Shell 98, much better, full tank to light come up can hit 480km. Heard Esso 8000 also quite good.
