yes for mine. maintaining speed at 100km/h = 2k rpm, let go accelerator 1.9k rpm.

i can feel the gear change when at low speed, when moving off, can see the rpm drop from 2k to 1.5 then slowly pickup... CVT going soon???

Mine same if I press acceralerator gently when moving off. But if I press accelerator harder, rpm stay until car speed hits the corresponding speed.  For example if I press hard to 2.2k rpm, rpm stays there until car reach speed of 100km/hr.

Happens as you accelerate gently past about 20-30km/h?

If you move off in a hurry, won't really see the drop.
