I changed a new compressor at Kelvin workshop last month and the price is quite resonable. Pay around $5X0, cheapest among all the other workshops.
Service is good and they tested until the air con is cool and the compressor can kick in and out.
Sign of compressor breaking down is blowing hot air at times and need to on off a/c button a few times before the compressor kick in again. It will get more and more frequent if you do not change. Finally changed after 6 yrs of usage.
Last sunday My aircon too blowing out hot air. So went to this workshop at McPherson as they open on Sunday.
Was told that my compressor spoilt. They quoted me $680 include labour.
Lucky my friend told me to go to his friend workshop and check.
they say the compressor is ok. Just need to change the parts inside. And quote me only $300 include labour.
