Known problems for high mileage cars?
« on: November 05, 2012, 01:47:56 PM »
Hi all, new to the forum here...

Recently took over a Latio that has almost 150k mileage, just wondering what the common problems faced with high mileage Latios?

Do a full servicing to ease your mind first.
Then check out for the front and back suspension / front brake pads and drum brake.
Air-con wise look out for any symptoms.
That should be it. Have fun in your latio

Thanks guys for your replies!

Previous owner sent the car to Tan Chong for full services since the day she bought, so relatively well taken care of. Gearbox is also not CVT, so won't be too exp to change if touch wood anything goes wrong hopefully...

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated! :)
