Additional 5v outlet in car
« on: December 05, 2012, 01:46:59 PM »
Hi, any idea whether is it possible to install one additional 5v outlet near the car centre mirror ? The current outlet is beside the two seat and if i have a car camera install, i would have dangling wire..

Hi,

u dun need additional outlet for ur new car camera, as the power can be tapped from the socket box (at bottom right) to ur new car cam.

And the wires can be hidden without seeing, jus go to ur trusted installer, they will know how to deal with it.

I had my car cam done at Nightz Concepts @ First Centre (serangoon north).

Price maybe abit higher but their support & worksmanship is acceptable to me.

U can try calling Dave (hp:90035540) to check out their products & pricing before u go down.
