My FC getting worse.......help!!

bro rayson, frm my personal experience driving a lousy car (last time drive a 1996 model nissan march) i try to pump 2psi above spec to improve FC (fc for old car very bad, ard 10km/l although 1.0L engine) and it was very scary. my car would skid when roads are wet. not too fast. 50kph and a little more brake pressure enough to skid liao. but once i reduce the pressure back to recommended, the skidding reduced. i was using falken tyres. 155/70 R13. small tyres i know, but the theory is the same. if you are safety conscious the little drop in FC is worth it. for the latio i only pump 10kpa above spec (240 front/220 rear).

jliow:
When the pressure is pumped in say at 250, by end of the day it will drop a little, everyday a little bit will leak....

IMHO, i pump a little more so as to tahan the losses.

Hi guys, I'm getting 450km out of 35 litres on 95 (caltex). tyre psi is 220(front) and 200(rear) on 15". Is this FC considered ok?

work out to be 12.8km/l...shld be ok ba...cos most ppl here getting 12-14km..some can even achieve 15km

and yr tyre psi is a little below the recommended psi 230 (front) and 210 (rear)..try increasing it and see if can improve
yr FC.

Bro, you may consider to pump the tyre a bit more see whether can help to improve the FC. I pump 245 (front) and 225 (rear), no prob at all, so far can achieve 14 to 15km.
