Changing from Sedan to Sports

mirage1978:
Hi

i'm currently owning a sedan (Dec 05)... intend to change to the sports version...
still prefer a hatchback car...
not sure how to go about doing it...
does it work like handphones where i can go back to Nissan and trade in the sedan for a sports?
wonder how much i would lose in terms of $...
any bros/sis here able to advise me on this?

Thx in advance!

Got 50 over views but no reply.  Haha.  Not sure if you are genuinely not knowing the answer.  Without sharing how much you paid for your ride or indicating whether is yours a 4AT or CVT premium, nobody can give you an accurate answer. Anyway, just go to a SE, and he/she will answer all your questions.

You should know best how much will you lose, we do not know how many years you loan and how much you loan, so we are unable to advise.

ASSUMING yours is a sedan. A dec 05 sedan should have cost you abt 60 plus k ..
Selling prices of 2nd hand Dec 05 ones, now, range from 40-45k.. So assuming the dealer earns 3-5k for your car. Lowest price you can get for your car now, is maybe 40k ? Or maybe 42k ?
Then just do simple maths. How much a latio sports is selling now - your trade in price = How much you top up.

Buying car is always losing money. It's only about HOW MUCH you wish to loose .

My 0.0002 cents worth.  :devil2:

Young boy,
Pls do not mislead people, pls note your assumption is based on fully paid or no loan scenerio.

Dealer will take in base on OMV and COE, with estimate of $2K body value nia. If $42K, I think many Lations will change car more often.  :D
