I sent my car for Toughseal treatment at Autopoint in AMK. All I need to do is to splash water over my ride once every week then wipe it with dry cloth...lastly once a month, I just give it a foam bath (car wash liquid included in $488 package). No other special care is required and this can last for the next 5 years.

Interested lations can read up at http://www.toughseal.com.sg/index.shtml

Sure can last for 5 years ?

This was what the technician told me and it's also mentioned on the website. You may want to read up for more information.

I read quite some time ago. If you do believe $488 can last for 5 years, well needless for me to spell out more.  :glare:

not that I'm bothered about the wet blanket. I guess it's all about choices and if any car owner feels that it's not worth it...no one is forcing him/her to do anything. afterall, I'm merely posting on the forum to provide 1 more option to a fellow lation who asked about grooming for his/her new car. I had no intention of proving whether Toughseal protection indeed lasts up to 5 years. No idea why my post incurred such reactions from people out there.

indian guy, they wash using a 'common' / 'shared' cloths, u dare to let them use the same cloths to wash for so many cars? :(

I think the Indian guy will change the water once it get dirty. Once my car quite dirty after raining, so I paid $5 for him just for 1 day wash. Should have go to petrol kiosk.  :(

rainbow bro, i'm sure no bad intentions from other forumners here, me also goin for pps - CSII, as long can last me a couple yrs i think it's good enough.  every1 has a different view/perception when it comes to car grooming. previously, i never bothered, just polish once a while and wash fortnightly...now my perception also change. dun be upset be happy :yehyeh:

hmm...the perception of "dirty" varies greatly from race to culture to nationality :bleh: i usually get my office indian guy to wash in the early friday morning , monday not good choice coz after weekend many pple wan2 wash too, so long queue, dunno how dirty water is
if u can't convince urself,how u confuse others?

I checked my car.. look clean.. at least everyday clean I am more then happy. The cloth is dirty and may be a bit rough but to me alright la. Save my energy. At most every 2 weeks once wash ur own on Saturday then detailing.

My car 2 wks I didn't even wash.. all dust covered... :(  Wanted to wash it but mind set not right. wahaha.

Unless got ppl sponsor him marco fiber cloth. hee..

Anyway he did a good job. Got quite a number of cars also want him to wash, Lexus and BM 5 are the only Lux car at my area which require the guy to wash. I dun mind if I get busy n still want my car to look clean everyday.

Not everyday required the indian guy to wash, just occasionally. Gib him to earn some money to go back India early.  :D
