Grooming for my new car (1mth old)
« on: June 04, 2008, 03:37:47 PM »
my peral white latio is 1 mth old niah..Since this is my 1st car + peral white in color, i do my car wash weekly and waxing monthlyor every 2 month

Currently i am doing only Car wash, waxing, clean tire + rim, clean all the glasses/windscreen and apply leather care & plastic care.

My skills>>> i think still Average ba..there is still room for improvement =P

My question is >> is it Good to get those freelance professional detailer to groom on my car soon??

i am thinking of getting those freelance detailer to groom my car (from cleaning to polish and waxing) >> to give my car a good protection.. (once every 6 mth or 1 year)

Then weekly i will just diy my own car washing and waxing (monthly)

Do u think this is good plan?? or is it necessary?

Its ur call tho... You can engage freelancer to do it for you and learn from there.

Or rather, to protect your paint, you can go to CS-II and get it done. Go to their web and read up. :)

Yes Benny is good, nice guy too. TS maybe you should get Maddetailer to get yr car done up, apply a good coat of sealant so later stage paint work will lasts better.

agreed. Limck007, go to MCF and get 2 bottle of Duragloss (Wax and Detailer) @$40 which also comes with 2 x free microfiber cloth! I just put in my name. :) Cheaper alot as there's free cloth... Just in time as I need to buy some. :)

Remember to take note of what he do. Then you can learn  :devil2:

I sent my car for Toughseal treatment at Autopoint in AMK. All I need to do is to splash water over my ride once every week then wipe it with dry cloth...lastly once a month, I just give it a foam bath (car wash liquid included in $488 package). No other special care is required and this can last for the next 5 years.

Interested lations can read up at http://www.toughseal.com.sg/index.shtml
