Window washer fluid reservoir
« on: June 10, 2008, 09:24:42 PM »
Hi all,

The window washer fluid reservoir, how do u check the fluid level, the manual says to use finger to plug the center hole of the cap/tube assembly, then remove it from the reservoir to check the fluid level?

Need to add fluid to what level? normal plain water also can add right?

i check the manual, it says add a washer solvent to the water for better cleaning?

pls help.
thanks.
sorry, i must agree because i don't know how to disagree. agreeeee only....

i don check, normally i filled till i see the water. just plan water will be good, was told by autosaver mech, if using silicon wiper, no need to add any cleaning solvent.

If the window's very dirty, then it's good to have the cleaning solvent (like travelling in MY).

In KL, it happened before...

Those ppl who intend to rape your car will throw egg to your windscreen. If you are unaware what things they had thrown to your windscreen & you quickly use the wiper to clean it off, you will be KENA! They use Egg because they want you to stop your car, you can't even drive your car because you are unable to see anything !!!

Scary!!!

Sorry, the correct word shld be to ROPE your car!

When you go petrol kiosk, you can request the pump attendant to top up water for you.

Sound bari gay ley...wha haha (joking only)

if u need to add cleaning solvent, do make sure that it is the pH balance type (those use for car wash).. if the ph is in balance, it will demange the paint work in long run....

Imaging, u leave the stain of the cleaing solvent on the bonnet and dry under ths sun....

hope that help...Cheers !!

Oh...

not to check pH la...
generally all cloth/dishwaher are not pH balance...so if use, then no good...
Most of the car cleaning solvent should be ok...so that depend on what u add into the car.......
