actually i bought it from my fren. he bought from Stamford tyres. he bought at $60 for 15 bottles. so each is $4. and i bottle can use 2 times -> 1ml = 1L of petrol. he used abt 1-2 bottles then can see effect liao leh.

hmm 1 bottle can use 2 time => 1 bottle is 90ml???.. WOW thats a lot......

if $60 for 15 bottles + 1 bottle can use 2 times ==> 1 full tank  will cost $2 of GreenOil leh....

For powerz >> 1 bottle is $4.50 but can only use for 1 full tank wo..

+

GreenOil git effect keg *according to Max

Hmmm GreenOil seems more worth to buy PowerZ leh hahaha

MAYBE evben if my powerZ got effect>> i will but GreenOIl to try LOL

Hi Guys,
What is the total cost for a full tank plus power Z or mygreenoil ? If pump V-Power or Caltex Premium, which one cheaper and any performance gain ? Just a thought thou.  :D

For me with my 1st bottle of PowerZ....

i top up 40L @ $66 + 1 bottle of PowerZ ($4.50) =$70.50

but i dont know how much it will improve my FC

i used to pour snake oil into my car... in fact i think all additives are snake oil!

wahlau... $4.50... can buy u 2+ liters of petrol leh! if let's say 40l per tank @ 13km/l = 520km. In case it improves by 1km/l then 520/14 = abt 37+l leh, that's the same price of fuel anyway...

but seriously! i never even saw my FC improve at all.

Same sentiments.

I had tried 'snake oil' before and find that it is a waste of money.

Any improvement felt is purely psychological.

Snake oil refers to those after market additives which serve no purpose at all.

hmm my fren also mentioned that... addictives are more effective for OLD engine leh.. new car dont really have much effect bcos of better efficiency, ecu, etc etc

maybe old engine >> need some healing power? haha :devil2:

so far into my 2nd bottles & 2nd full tank of caltex silver + my car is on mineral oil (4350km)................

not much significant changes in FC leh.. still 11.5km/l

I am thinking >> mAybe need to wait till 4th bottle then got effect... Maybe the system is still "getting use" to power-z

maybe will see how ...

No offence, but maybe Power Z may just be another snake oil which does not work at all.

I never use after market additives anymore as it screwed up my ex car's engine over the years.

Just a wonder, what if your car is used to putting addictives like this power-Z, so when you stop, will it has some side effect like maybe FC going worst, I used this assumption like those drug addicts, no offense just curious thou.

I used to have a COE car, I owned it for 15 years, 1st owner, in perfect condition after complete overhaul which cost me $4K.

Then I itchy finger started adding additives (fuel saving tablets from Nature's Glory), at first the fuel consumption dropped a little (AND with increased power too), but after several tankful of top ups, I realised that performance started getting sluggish, even with the tablet.

The fuel consumption also went up.

I decided to do without the additive, the car felt dead.

So I switched to STP octane booster & carb cleaner to the petrol tank, and added engine oil additives too, but nothing helped.

I finally scrapped the car as the timing often went off (never happened before I used additives) and the car started consuming engine oil at an alarming rate (no leaks but have to top up once a week). Was using thick 10W50 mineral oil.

I spoke to several motorists and the general feedback that I get from thsoe who had tried additives is that it gives a "feel good" psychological effect, that's all, and does not perform as advertised and even caused engine problems in some cars.
