some kerbs are high
even the ones on surface parking

solution - don't park too far back, especially with passengers in rear seats and/or heavy stuff in boot
Be safe. Go with the flo.

Is your Latio with body kit?

I noticed many Latios with body kits having scratched front and rear spoilers. Ground clearance is very low.

if we look much closer, with or without the body kit, the exhaust is much lower ...

and if you search through some posting, many ppl have similiar experiences due to the fact the nissan latio gantong is very soft ... with our without load, most likely will scratch one ... when i longbang ppl, worst ...

i ever parked at an open air lot while waiting for friend...
reverse park in... and was listening to music.. when i heard the sound of loud exhaust...
"pok pok pok pok" i thought which motorbike so irritating and looked around but didnt see any bike...

so i got out of the car and realised the sound coming from my boot area....
was actually my exhaust pipe vibration hitting on the kerb, thats why got the sound!
from then on.... i always look out for kerbs when reversing...

Latio suspension is also soft and low by nature.

If back seat carry 3 pax, sure will hit any kerb, even the lowest kerb.

Is your Latio with body kit?

I noticed many Latios with body kits having scratched front and rear spoilers. Ground clearance is very low.
Yesterday I was reversing my car out from the parking lot of Bishan Interchange multistorey carpark open deck. Didn't realize that I am very near near the kerb on my left. Mount on the kerb and hear a scratch sound. Thank God, my rims and viewable area of the front spoiler not scratched. However, when I reach underneath the front spoiler, can feel the scratch marks.

So guys be careful if you are do "front" parking next to high kerb as our rear and bad spoilers are rather low. Next time for such cases, I will reverse all the way before turning my wheel until the car clear the parking lot.
