Loud squeaking sound from engine drive belt

Today, when I was parking the car in mscp after heavy rain, I heard a loud squeaking sound from the engine compartment.
Opened the hood and found that the squeaking sound comes from a running belt called engine drive belt. Is this serious?
Should I send my car in now or wait for 1.5k more for my normal servicing?
