Where do you recommend servicing your car?
« on: August 24, 2008, 10:36:58 AM »
Hi all, have exhausted my 3 free servicings at TCM already.

Coming up to about 15000km going to hit the 20k mark soon. Any recommendations?

I live in Katong area. If you find its too sensitive for business, can PM me as well your recommendation, if you don't mind. Thanks :)

I strongly recommend you to service your car at the following workshops which are Nissan Specialists and follow the service intervals according to Tan Chong's Service Packages A, B & C.

Enjoy savings of up to 42% compared to servicing at Tan Chong!

Your Tan Chong warranty will NOT be void so long as you have the receipts to prove that you follow the service intervals. There are several forumers here who can confirm this - they had their faulty parts replaced for free by Tan Chong despite not servicing at Tan Chong during the warranty period.

Price comparison for servicing at Tan Chong and Auto Saver for fully synthetic oil packages:

Mileage - Tan Chong / Auto Saver = Savings
20K - $349 / $208.65 = Save $140.35
30K - $180 / $104.86 = Save $75.14
40K - $422 / $278.20 = Save $143.80
50K - $180 / $104.86 = Save $75.14
60K - $349 / $208.65 = Save $140.35
70K - $180 / $104.86 = Save $75.14
80K - $180 / $278.20 = Save $143.80
90K - $422 / $104.86 = Save $75.14

Total savings from servicing your Nissan at Auto Saver (instead of Tan Chong) from 20,000km up to 90,000km service intervals = $868.86 !!!

* All prices quoted are for fully synthetic oil packages and include 7% GST

M'sia tan chong is even cheaper than autosaver
eg. 30k servicing cost S$110 include engine flush, fuel injector clean, valve clean, tyre rotation/balancing/alignment. (exclude engine oil)
FYI they are using castrol and not fastflo oils for their servicing packages...

TCM Malaysia & Singapore are follow the same servicing schedule and processes (like what part to change in difference service interval)? If we service at TCM Malaysia, will TCM Singapore void our warranty? Think TCM Malaysia should be cheaper than TCM Singapore. What you guys think?  ;D
