It not abt the Brand, company or the rest of the Staffs...

Just that 1 solo, single SA that damage the whole show, my advise, write into their customer service, name the SA and let them know...to me their Customer Service works.

Please post his name and let's shame him... :devil2:

hi guys

imo, everywhere aso have the 害群之马...
so far i have not met any of them at tcm@bkt timah.
but for my boot kiak sound, during my 1000 servicing, i forgot that guy's name, he told it is normal & other latio aso hving the same problem, he showed and demo to me by using the other latio next to my car (in the servicing area, ohhh, now think back, may be the owner of that car was complaining abt the boot's noise aso? haha. Relax)

regards.

So I'm not alone. My problem is not about rude SA/Es, my problem is the kind of service/work they do to your car. (read my other posts for details) Send the car for servicing as good as not servicing. The prob highlighted doesnt seemed to be rectified.

For me, i accept the mechanics take a longer time to service my car as long as they help me maintain and keep the car in good shape. But I cannot accept that when I turn up for my appointment, i have to wait for 30min before someone come and take over the car.

I too experience the tok sound every time i go over the hump. Before my 1k service, there was no sound. After the 1k service, the sound appears. Have yet to rectify that prob. Cos it is not as pressing as that grain of sand stuck in between my window and solar film!!

The Latio is a good car to drive, more so after some mods. But i tink there are some design probs thats y all these complaints by drivers. And perhaps it is these complaints that pissed the SA/Es off. Having to face them so many times a day everyday certainly will pissed a saint off.

so did you try any other workshop that solve your problem? workshop that can rectify all kinds of problem, not those that can fix then fix can not then ask you go back to TCM type. We like to know too.

one thing i am sure about the car wash at TPY branch. I take it as they wash the car with air gun. Its ok for me since petrol station car wash not as clean and detail anyway, stillI perfer to DIY wash/wax the car.

nop, to all in general. I also have some problems that I still ignore them. TCM want to replace the part but I think still can repair. Then the vibrating sound etc... dun think busy TCM will entertain each and every problem we have especially if it is a minor one

Eh i just did my 1k servicing at Bukit Timah.

Positive:

- Pleasant attitude
- Straight away car was sent collected by them (maybe because my appt. is 11.30am on weekday)

Negative:

- Waited for 3hours just for 1k servicing
- The service man did not brief me anything at all when he hand the car over to me. Dont know what they have actually done.
- The service center 'scar' my side mirror, my white color paint chip off on the edges (saddly to say that i only found out when i drove out of the service center)
- 1k servicing should including washing of the car, it is damm badly done. I can still see oil grease on the bumper and side mirror bodykit gaps

Next time when collect from back, do remember to check the car for any chips off.

If possible, try TPY servicing centre, I felt they are much better.

hi ying

iagree w u, their washing is not very detail/clean.
i pay rm8 @ jb to get the malay owner to wash for me, lagi bersih dan murah....

if 3layers waxing + washing, they charge abt RM130 , take abt 1 to 2hrs for that, so far my car has not done any waxing & washing.

petrol station washing service is not so good aso.

imo, generally, TCM does give me good quality service & good impression also even though i am not 100% satisfy with their services rendered to me. Now with the NPMP i signed up with them, i will TARUH dan HANTAM them kau kau if the problems i highlighted to them didn't get it solved asap and without reasons!

hi 1stTimer

i used to be 1stTimer @tcm aso.
iagree with u, must check the car properly b4 drive off.
u know what i did for my last 38000km major service? when the car is ready for collection, they will usually park it near the security guard house area, i walked over and go around the car to take a look here & there (roughly, not very detail) to make sure there is 'kemek' (e.g. certain part of the body is KO by them... so that i can tell them to take a look immediately... ALSO, remember to take back the parts that they had replaced for you, if any... if you have chg by ur own not long ago, e.g. the Wiper Blade... and so on)
sorry, i must agree because i don't know how to disagree. agreeeee only....

2 weeks ago i went to TCM@BT to surface the steering coupling problem to them. The Service Advisor that attended to me is very friendly and patient. Because i just collect my car and i jot down a list of 7 problems on a piece of paper. He actually took over and patiently read them one by one!

His name is Sonny. Few days later i called Sonny again regarding some other issues and he said he will check and call me back and he really did, on the same day.  You all can try him.

But can i ask, Service Advisor (SA) is SA and those wearing coverall are technicians right?

Technician generally very rough with the car, very defensive and dun usually know what is customer service. Bad experience with technician. For test drives, usually is SA accompany us or technician accompany us?

For test drives, the tester (think same uniform as SA) will go with u and they will any how ram ur car till 4K RPM, they abused (rough) ur car like no body business. Really heart pain when test drives with them. Petrol dropped 1 bar after servicing and test drives.  :crycry:  Worse, still cannot detect my rattling noise.   :out:

Technicians are technicians... they dun usually deal with customers. Hence relac abit with them lor, wat to do. if u pissed them, the next time they see ur car, they can either dun service well, or make the service look well but it isnt or the throw a wad of cotton wool into your exhaust... :crycry: quite LL, we are at their peril...

for test drives, the car is not theirs, y would they bother about driving carefully for you??

I went to TPY for a number of service for my Sunny. somehow dun find it good.... maybe they gotten the service done very quickly ba??  lol

Agree. rattling noise is very hard to detect. my car jerkiness in low RPM also hard to detect. And they rev like nobody business. Sorry to grumble again because that day i got so ****ing pissed off because i already told the technician low rpm then the jerkiness will come and he still rev the car. Like that how to test? I really feel like giving him a piece of my mind. And while test driving he is still sms-ing. Extremely pissed off.

I totally agree, we are at their mercy. Wonder if we complain to their customer service, will they tell the technician "the owner of SGK 12345K complain about you..... "

oh? so the condition of the warranty is to send the car to TCM for servicing regularly?? that is ridiculous. your servicing sucks, so i went to other places to service. if i'm you i will slam that right in their faces.
