Latio can not jump start?

Hi, it could be that the jumper cable is faulty. It happen to me once, after changing another cable, it able to start.

Apparently diesel cars can't jumpstart petrol cars..thats what an AA guy told me when i tried to jumpstart a van with my car.

Huh....is there such theory? Is the electricity current that you need from the Van, not the fuel. AA guy smoke u ba. I know the vehvle that need to jump start your care need to be a healthy battery to achieve result of the jump start.

the cable is confirmed no problem, actually when the cable was connected, I have used my multimeter to check the voltage on my battery terminal,  13.4V.

voltage shld be a problem leh..When it come to starting the car.. it is the current that is impt rite?

its just a battery, regardless of diesel or petrol car
