Did you apply any chemical like Rain X on your windscreen?

Rain X is a complete disaster which should be avoided at all cost. I learnt it the hard way.

You can try to apply some car wax on your windscreen and then wipe it off. This method worked for me and the sweaking sound was removed for good.

Bro,

Rain-X is a good product if you know how to use it properly, wash your ride, apply rain-x with a piece of clean tissue is small circular motion sparingly, make sure the whole windscreen is covered, wait for it to haze. Apply another layer covering the whole windscreen again. It will work, aplly every 3 months after that or when wiper starts to jump.

Rain X is excellent in its water repelling abilities. I don't even need to use my wipers in a drizzle.

But it is like a drug for your car.

Once you start using it, you have to use it forever, or the wiper will not be smooth when you turn it on.

The chemical in Rain X also causes premature wear to your wiper rubber.

Guys

I have used a similiar product by Waxco before.

After use got that problem, tell TCM on my 5K servicing. They do a "window clean" for me but the problem resurfaces the next day.

I told my dad about it and he tried to bend the wiper for me to make the contact with the windscreen more consistent. Afterwhich, problem disappear.

Not sure whether this will help in your case or not.

Hello, need advice if I can add normal glass cleaning solution (blue colour) into my wiper tank with ratio of 1 part cleaning solution to 2 parts water.

Thanks!

Try TCM Magic Windscreen package. To me tink value for money, rain repelling coating plus sillicon wipers. no regrets, been a happy user for 3 mnths already

Touted to last 6-9 mnths

There is another thread someone complaining his antenna got swapped, and we have stolen rubber cover for the door unlock button, stolen air-valve cap, now i dunno when the first case of stolen window visor will surface. It sucks. Call TCM and find out.... I empathise with your predicament.

Some ppl stretched themselves financially to buy a car and then try ways and means to save few or tens of dollars here and there, resorting to theft. No choice....

Mine also got such problem.

I realised the wiper is noisy before my 2nd servicing. I highlight to TCM during my second service and they changed the wiper blade for me, but the problem comes back 1 month later. At first i thought could be the windscreen prob but i washed my car at least once a weekI gonna highlight to them again on my 3rd servicing.

mine same problem too. It was changed during the 2nd service and noticed the sound 1 week later when in use, but didnt bother to go back to TCM toa payoh to complain. Highlighted to them on 3rd servicing and they suggested to do the windscreen coating service at S$30+. So no choice LL did it. So far  NO RAIN ,.. so didnt bother to activate it.

I did my 40K servicing, changing wiper filling is part of the package, needs to pay extra $20+ for the silicon. So didn't take up the offer anywhere.

Before change, wiper not really noisy.

After changing to new set of wiper, they are much noisier than the pair I replaced. So sad  :crycry:
