Rusty Under-Carriage Supporting Beams - Latio only 4 months old
« on: December 28, 2008, 03:37:11 PM »
Hi to all,

It came to my attention yesterday that the 2 supporting beams under my Latio has started to rust. Wondering whether it has happened to your Latios because it does not seem to be the norm? Please see attached pics.

Is your Latio the latest facelift version or the YOM 2007 stocks?

You should send your car back to Tan Chong for them to rectify this fault.

Mine is the YOM 2007 stocks. Called up Tan Chong today. They said have to see my car. Most probably anti-rust not done properly according to them. Could not be because of hump as it is located not lower than the exhaust.
