Lock door while engine running?

HI, I notice we can't lock the door while the engine is running.
Sometimes wants to do a short errand out of the car also must off engine inorder to lock the doors..
Anybody knows how to go abt it?

Also, our immobsilier means that if car broken into, also cannot drive away?
how abt if engine is on, but i-key not inside. will the engine stall if it is driven?
