With the exceptionally gloomy economic outlook, and the gaverment having to dip into the sacred reserves, I don't see how COE prices will go any higher and there is no reason that any of you will not secure your COE by the 6th bid.

Best of luck!

That's the reason why they will delibrately hold back and bi successfully only onthe 6th bid cos by  then the COE would have dipped further and they will have higher profit margins.... :glare:

Did any of you get your COE?

It has dropped to $2,693.

But I find that those who get their COE now not so worth it, as COE price keeps going down and this affects the future resale paper value.

Don't think there are much rebate as I vaguely remember that this round's rebate level was set at either 2k or 3k.

Ya only about few hundreds of rebate.... In fact was expecting the COE to be way below 2K.

Thanks, cos with a lower COE means a lower car price but higher profit margin for dealer... Furthermore higher COE means we as buyer benefit when we sell the car.

Wow.. that's record time for TC.  Congrats on having a shiny new ride for the new year.  Did you manage to get a higher OMV.
