Get rid of your door visor and the sound will be gone. I got the sound when I install the visor too.

Definitely it is the visors which causes the noise and thus more wind drag. You may not get the noise when you first install it but over time, parts of the visors gets loosen a bit which cause the noise. My understanding is that only the expensive original visor >$100 will not get any noise as it is secured with a custom-designed clip and 3M tape. For this reason, I am not installing any visors for my Latio until I find it necessary, because I also have similar problem with my previous ride.

one time, the cheap visor dropped off and i noticed no more wind sound when driving at expressway..
it came back when the visor is fixed back..

Mine was original fr TC, been using since day1, not sure if the sound is noisy, but seems acceptable to me or i can say no noise even at high speed. When at high speed (eg. NSH), engine noise seems noisier, soundproof not so good..
Simple...

for me i think it block sunlight, the rays dun glare my eyes, cosmetic purposes, i can partially wind down window allow air t come in without messing my hair. for smoker during raining days u can open alittle t let the smoke escape out of car during rainy day, u dun get too wet. it suppose t reduce wind resistance too but hw true or hw well it work i m not v sure thou.

it is quite useful if u smoke.. cos if u open a little then the smoke can escape liao..

w/o visor.>>> if u lower ur windows...>> the smoke + the ash will be pushed into ur car instead
