Ultramax solar film
« on: February 08, 2009, 09:32:02 AM »
Anyone using the Ultramax from TCM?

I'm surprised to noted that the small corners in the front they do not put on the film. Is this normal? Guess need to push my SE to have them do it. Its kinda of silly not to do them as well.  :out:

Mine has solar film installed on eth 2 small corners at the small front side windows beside the dashboard.

Maybe your installer missed them out.

I can see the difference in tint ... mine definitely do not have it.  But I think the product quality is good value for the price ... my SE threw that in.

Intresting to learn from SE that they dont install the front small triangle portion for fear of damaging the electronics below as lots of water is used during installation.  :( Guess will diy something at that area.

If that's the case, then how come mine has window tinting on that part?   :confused1:

Good question, i believe SE not telling truth. Too bad for me I guess...  :glare:

However from the receipt I got, realised that SE only paid 180 for the film.

Don't expect some top quality window tinting since it is free.

I find that the free Ultramax window we are given free is of the low end quality.

That I'm fully aware but just call me cheapo. I only want the free stuff to be complete and did not expect quality. If wanted quality would have not gotten the free stuff.

Does it make sense to anyone that the little area is not covered? That my thoughts. No ill intentions.  I'm just trying to establish if my SE smoked me big time.
