sengkang:
On the contrary, when u wind down yr windows and off the aircon. It donesnt mean u can save on fuel also. When u wind down yr windows, there are wind resistance & yr car starts to drag back by the foce of the wind! Moreover, using the aircon doesnt affect FC becos its using electricity, not petrol to run the aircon!.
I read this on some articles on myths of FC saving.

Unfortunately, energy isn't free. Running your AC will force your alternator to work harder, so you will consume more petrol. That's a fact.
Driving with windows fully open is still more fuel efficient than with AC on, up till a certain speed. Then, it will be best to wind up window and leave maybe a small gap.
pizzaboy:
yup those of you that fix door visor can use that as a guage to wind down the windows until nearly the edge of the visor, do that to all four windows esp. when anyone of the passenger inside the car is down with flu it helps circulate the air rather than germs flyin around the cabin with a/c on.
Toalson:
Just upsized to 16" and will update if any change to FC. Is using 205/50R16 on BS RE001 ;D

Hey Toalson, I'm using that tire profile too. I feel that its very terrible for going across humps sideways, especially small ones in carpark. The car will shake violently left to right. Wonder if it's because tires too wide. =(
