Air con totally not cold and soft hissing sound

My latio sport yr mid 2005 @ about 94k mileage.

Air con totally not cold and noticeable hissing noise when sitting inside car. Any ideas? or anyone have this problem before?

I can only guess air con gas is leaking. Hopefully this won't cost me a bomb. 

Any good and budget air con workshops to recommend as well?

I'm not sure abt the air con not cold but i had the same hissing sound problem. Got very loud these few days and decided to go for maintenance. Verdict - Fan belt cracked, according to the mechanic latio's fan belt will surely cracked at 50k. Changed mine and sound appears to gone. Will monitor status.

Damage - $67.50 with autosaver discount for original fan belt b4 gst
Labour - $25 installation b4 gst

I changed my fan belt (original with nissan logo) at 60k from autosaver and it cost me only $40 plus.  They waive off labour since i do servicing there regularty.

mine at $75 with normal service and No extra labour cost (at AS too)...wah lau eh...

You never make frens with them lah.  I go to Toh Guan Branch.
Still ask them to lotion it during my 80k servicing. :p

I went to Kaki Bukit branch.

Wah! I kanna chop carrot! People pls beware of the dishonesty from Kaki Bukit AutoSaver! For sure they have lost a client. Disappointed.

Any honest and reliable workshop to recommend for future servicing?

huh... diff branch diff charges?? cannot be right?? make complaint to the AS boss, maybe they getting extra pocket $$ for you? ...... newton circle hawker center har?

I paid to sign up as member and religiously go there for servicing. So much for their good feedbacks but yet one dishonesty act will break my faith with them. 

Time to look for other worthy workshops...

original brake shoe = 125

labour cost not included in above. 
Anyone can find other cost lower?  I check with Soh tyre for brake shoe, it cost 95 but labour 55.

I've changed original front brake pad @$125 (at AS, Kaki bkt), no labour charge as it's together with service package.

I had this hissing sound before.. they replaced some rubber rings and tightened some vent..  and problem solved..
