No power loss for RON 92
pizzaboy:
yeah every three tank of 92 one tank of platinum
whattafarck:
i'm on my first full tank of RON92 - Caltex...
its now about half tank left...
...already feeling the loss of power....not to say i regret lah...
its cheaper..now lookin at the mileage...whether same or better (hopefully)
if i really can't bear the power loss...i may switch back to 95....
kgleo:
mine no power loss but significant mileage loss :confused1:
pizzaboy:
yeah i find it weird too, when i pump shell or caltex 95 can last me at least 500km b4 reserve lite up but when i pump mobil, spc or esso 420km lights up oledi... wonder wats the theory behind it??
I heard from my colleague that BHP & Petronas has very good travellin mileage wonder any of u guys tried b4?
capcorn:
pizzaboy, every three tank of RON 92 one tank of platinum might be equal to the price of 4 tank of RON 95.
i think iagree's method (between 92 and 95 only) will be more cost effective.
whattafarck, when the tank is full, i always feel tat the car is more powerful.
I used to pump RON95, when it is full tank, the car feels like going to cheong.
when it is half tank, the car feels a bit sluggish.
i am still wondering why we need 3 tank of 92 to feel the power loss...
could it be that after 3 tank, the tank is all purely RON92?
but even first tank is already majority RON92 and some leftovers of RON95.
can the leftovers be so powerful?
i will monitor my FC.
