Latio rear always kana kerb?
« on: April 20, 2009, 09:29:53 PM »
Hi.. I noticed when my latio is full load, i always kana the kerb when i do reverse parking.
Its always the small metal hook that knocked into the kerb, is this normal for latio?  :crycry:

The hook is for towing.....in most countries, other than Sg, it is compulsory to have a hook at the rear of the car for towing.....since our car is JDI, hence it comes with the hook too....dun think u can do anything to it other than be careful when reverse parking wit full load..... :yehyeh: :yehyeh:

Latio's front, even without body kit is low. I have hit the kerb several times when parking. Luckily the lower potion is black, so the scratches cannot be seen.

My front kana few times liao. Bodykit bad scratches. 1st time went for touch up. Subsequents times get used to it liao, dun bother anymore.  :cool2:

Back wise kana once the exhaust...too high the kerb. Also dun care  :bleh:

My front body kit also kanna. Too low le la... front and back same. Just got to be careful when parking next time.

But sometimes really bobian because some lots the 'depth' very shallow, so have to reverse park all the way, then exhaust kanna kerb. :-p

I think its all a matter of geting used to it.

The main culprit are the low rear  tow hook & exhaust  pipe.

Always reverse very slowly, and try not to allow the wheels touch the kerb. This will minimise the hit and demage caused.

no choice one...tin is design intent....anyway previously still install additional exhaust head end up take off also cause too may "rubbing" liao :weep: :weep:.....anyway, if got intention to lower your ride with lower suspension...you may have to take note as well....
