I find the NPMP not bad, there are many hidden cost if you do outside.

Change auto/cvt transmission oil, other oil if need to top up they will do. Change brake pad, wiper, tire balancing, air-con gas, filters, spark plug. Got whatever problem just tell them. The only thing is the fastflo engine oil not sure how good is it compared to other branded ones, can't find info on it. Their prices seems not that bad compared to other AD. Considering to take up another NPMP when servicing is due. Going to reach 60k soon so need to change cvt oil.

so far,>> i have been using fastflo after 10K servicing ..
now is 13500km liao..

so far, my comments on Fastflo>>

1) make the engine quite noisy as compare to mineral (cfm louder)
2) abit laggish in respond. (same or LOUSIER respond as when my car is on mineral oil)==> need to step harder ==> noiser

seems like a vicious cycle leh.

This is my 1st synthetic EO.. so i can only compare to mineral oil

others can comment???

i am thinking of trying other EO when i hit 20K... maybe shogun or carlube????

yah, 2 year package also lock down the price. It was $1019 when I signed, now is $1091. The Fastflo EO not so good, ok for point to point normal driving.

Dont expect anything fantastic from the complimentary car wash for each servicing.. just imagine they are using air gun to wash car.

Aircon air filter (not change every servicing) TCM charge ~$70, best buy a few OEM filter from this forum then DIY.

Wiper change at 20k interval, but can't last that long.

On Shogun since 20K, was on Fasflo full Syn during 10K.....let me tell U, the oil simply CMI  :nonod: :zipped:  use 6-7K engine become noisy and sluggish.

Then when change to Shogun....I tell u its a world of difference, like haven and earth. now already 28K, engine still quite, of coz not as good as new oil but still smooth and quiet. So much so I think will drag until 32K - 35k then go service

The next oil I be changing is X-rev.

NPMP for 2 years or 40,000km - heard of that package. Have not really find out what it covers and what others we need to pay for service & repair?

Colleague told me that power windows faults was not cover and he brought his Latio for outside repair!

Anyone sign up the NPMP for 2 years or 40,000km and on top of that have to pay for non covers repairs and parts? Appreciate you can sharing your experience.

Thanks.

Without signing the package, you have to pay extra for the changing of parts, especially at 40K serving, package will have not hidden cost.

It warrant all repairs / parts done during the NPMP servicing.

Power window fault is covered unde the 3 year warranty, but is not covered if your Nissan is over its 36th month.

NPMP is a servicing package and does not cover any mechanical fault(s).

The recommended oil change interval for Daihatsu cars is 15,000km.

So should be no problem to drag oil change interval till 15,000km for Latio?

Can anyone advise?

not a problem, provided you're using fully syn and your driving habits isnt like one of a f1 racer or trackie.

I am thinking of the numerous famous faults that may arise in a Latio: power window motor, steering coupling, aircon compressor and the CVT gearbox. Warranty for all these quite worth it....  but the NPMP use fastflo... this is what i dun like....

Hi guys, may i know what oil does Autosaver use? Intend to switch to Autosaver since there's no difference by going down to Nissan.

Checked on 60k servicing, AS is $200 while TCM $345. Does AS allow own EO tho?
