Service outside not cover under warranty?

During warranty period, car servicing outisde if having any probelms, not cover under warranty by tc. SA say

dunno leh leh..as far i am concern... i svc my car from 5 to 30k in tan chong and then 30k on ward at outside shop till my warranty over recently (july 09). I go for the last servicing before my warranty over in few day and still it valid cos they did a major overhaul on my aircon unit FOC after I complaint not cold... :yehyeh:

Tc voided my warranty when my aircon cooling coil was found to be leaking. As I have no servicing record with them, they offer me 2 choices which is 1) take their servicing package at $353 and they cover the warranty or 2) they will replace the parts for free but  have to pay for their labour cost. Luckily for me  my servicing at 40k is due so opt for  option 1

Not a bad compromise.


Service outside to cut cost, but when need to claim warranty, just go backto TC to service and your warranty is reinstated.
